Community Service is often described as the "Heartbeat of Rotary" whose goal is to improve the quality of life in our community. Participation on this committee gives you an organized outlet for not only giving back to our community but also an opportunity to make life-long Rotarian friends.

Please join us on the committee or as a volunteer! Contact India Wood, chair of community service.

Hands-On Service

Our annual October-November Share a Coat drive collects about 4,000 coats through the cooperation of the Boulder Valley School District and other collecting centers. Local area dry cleaners graciously donate the cleaning services. Nearly all of our Club members help with the coat drive, collecting, sorting, and distributing warm clothing to families in need through a holiday donation event with Community Food Share and Toys for Tots, as well as through local church groups.

Our Rotarians have recently helped build fence and clean stalls at the Medicine Horse program, teach English to immigrants while building a drainage system out at ReSource 2000, plant seedlings with Growing Gardens, and glean fields for Community Food Share.

We look forward to working with you to improve our community!
