Flower Power

The Arvada Rotary Club has organized the annual Flower Power event in conjunction with the Colorado Garden and Home Show in Denver for many years. The project is to gather the potted plants from the Convention Center at the close of the show and to distribute them to various retirement homes in the area. This year our club decided to participate and selected Frasier Meadows Manor to be the recipient facility. Our volunteers went to the show late on a Sunday and helped gather and pack the potted flowers into boxes of 8 for distribution the next day.

Dictionary Project

This year Rotary Club of Boulder Valley started the Dictionary Project in four elementary schools in the Boulder Valley including Foothills, Columbine, and University Hill in Boulder and Sanchez Elementary in Louisville.
